IND vs ENG ODI- Root, Archer ruled out from ODI series against India

IND vs ENG – Fast bowler Jofra Archer and batsman Joe Root ruled out of the ODI series against India which will be started on 23 March

England Cricket Board announced 14 member squad for three One Day International series in Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune

Jofra Archer is returning to England for further management and investigation of his right elbow injury.

Some big names were dropped from the ODI team: Joe Root, Liam Plunkett and Chris Woakes, In Root’s absence, third place to bat could be filled by Liam Livingstone

Eoin Morgan, who leads the team in T20Is will also lead the team in ODI matches

In Archer absence, the fast bowling department would be lead by Mark Wood, Tom Curran, and Sam Billings

Three reserved players will travel with the team – Jake Ball, Chris Jordan, and Dawid Malan
