Pakistan’s young batsman Usama Mir constantly remains in the headlines. He has once again created panic with his batting. Usama scored 34 runs in an over during the Ghani Ramadan Tourney 2023 tournament. He hit one four and five sky-high sixes in this over. The innings played by him has become a topic of discussion on social media.

During this tournament, in the match played between GIC and Karachi Warriors, Usama scored a blistering 66 runs in 20 balls. He thrashed every bowler fiercely. Thanks to Usama’s innings, Ghani Institute of Cricket scored 236 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets.

Usama also played many excellent innings in the recently held Pakistan Super League. He has so far played three ODIs for Pakistan and is slowly cementing his place in the team.

The Ghani Ramadan tournament is a regular tournament in the Pakistan cricket calendar. The tournament is held during the month of Ramadan and two international players per team are allowed in the competition. A total of eight teams participate in it.

The Ghani Ramadan tournament 2023 has turned out to be a star-studded affair over the years and this year’s roster includes big names like Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Ihsanullah, Azam Khan, Usman Qadir, Umar Akmal, Ahsan Ali and Abid Ali. Ihsanullah and Azam Khan both starred in the PSL and have emerged as young talents for Pakistan over the years.
