Healy to lead Australia: Australia captain Meg Lanning has been ruled out of the Ashes due to medical reasons. Alyssa Healy will lead the team in the multi-format series starting June 22.

Lanning returns to play in January after taking a break:-

After taking an extended break from the game to manage his mental health, Lanning returned to play in January and led Australia to the T20 World Cup title in South Africa during March before joining the inaugural WPL.

This will be Lanning’s second Ashes series after sitting out the 2017-18 series in Australia due to a shoulder injury.
