Sourav Ganguly spoke big about the return of Rishabh Pant. Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly has provided an important update on Rishabh Pant’s recovery.

Pant’s 2023 ODI World Cup or maybe 2024:-

He has expressed his concern over whether or not Pant will play in the 2023 ODI World Cup or possibly the 2024 T20 World Cup.

In a recent interview, Sourav Ganguly said that Delhi Capitals will find it difficult to fill the void left by Rishabh Pant.

The team is yet to finalize his replacement. The former batsman also said that he has spoken to Pant several times since the horrific accident in December 2022.

Sourav Ganguly said, “I spoke to him a couple of times. He’s obviously been through a tough time through injuries and surgeries and I wish him well. In a year or maybe more, he will be back playing for India.”

Pant’s replacement has not been announced

DC is yet to announce Pant’s replacement, and Ganguly is still discussing whether domestic legend Sheldon Jackson or young talent Sarfaraz Khan could be a better option. Although Sarfaraz has injured his finger, he will be fine before the start of IPL.

Ganguly said, “We still need some time to find out. The next camp is starting before the IPL. IPL is still a month away and the season has just started.

It is difficult to get all the players together for the amount of cricket they play. There are four or five who are playing Irani Trophy. Sarfaraz’s finger is hurt and it is not a broken finger. He should be fine for the IPL.”
