BCCI announces contract extension for Rahul Dravid and support staff

BCCI on Wednesday announced the extension of the contract for Indian cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid and the support staff of Team India. His contract expired after the recently concluded ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. After this, the BCCI discussed with Dravid and agreed to extend the tenure.

BCCI said in a statement, “The Board appreciates the important role played by Mr. Dravid in preparing the Indian team. The Board also appreciates VVS Laxman for his exemplary roles as NCA chief and stand-in head coach. Just as they shared partnerships on the field, Dravid and Laxman have worked together to take Indian cricket forward.”
