WPL 2024: Deepti Sharma becomes the first Indian to take a hat trick in WPL
Deepti Sharma, hat trick in WPL: The 15th match of the league stage of WPL 2024 was played between UP Warriors and Delhi Capitals. This match between Delhi and UP crossed all limits of excitement. At a time when Delhi was completely dominating, one player single-handedly changed the course of the entire match.
Deepti Sharma single-handedly changed the result of the match :-
This player is none other than Indian female star cricketer Deepti Sharma. In this match, while he first batted brilliantly and scored 59 runs in 48 balls and helped the team reach a respectable score of 138 runs, he also bowled brilliantly and took a hat-trick and changed the outcome of the entire match.
Where at one time Delhi had scored 93 runs losing 3 wickets in 13.6 overs, it was all out for 137 runs in 19.5 overs and lost this thrilling match by 1 run.

Deepti Sharma became the first Indian to take a hat-trick in WPL :-
Deepti executed a hat-trick in two spells. First, on the last ball of the 14th over, Deepti dismissed Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning for 60 runs, which was the turning point of the match. After this, he was given the ball again in the 18th over of the match and he dismissed Annabel Sutherland on his first ball and Arundhati Reddy on the second ball and accomplished his hat trick.
After this she did not stop even after this, she also dismissed Shikha Pandey on the fourth ball of the over. With her off-spin bowling, Deepti took 4 wickets for 19 runs in her four overs and ended her brilliant spell.

Due to her incredible performance, Deepti was also awarded the Player of the Match award.
Talking about the performance of UP Warriorz this season, they have won 3 out of their 7 matches and are still in the race for the playoffs. UP’s last match of the league stage is with Gujarat Giants on Monday, March 11.
