Indian team’s head coach Rahul Dravid has praised young batsman Rinku Singh. The coach was impressed by Rinku Singh’s maturity and ability to remain calm under pressure. Rinku Singh played an important role in the victory in the third T20 against Afghanistan. Rinku played an unbeaten inning of 69 runs in 39 balls, which included two fours and six sixes. Both scored 190 runs in an unbroken partnership for the fifth wicket.
Dravid praised Rinku Singh and said :-
Dravid praised Rinku and said, “The kind of maturity she has shown in her early stages of international cricket is praiseworthy. We have seen him coming in at the back end of the innings and finishing the game. It was a pleasure to watch him build partnerships today and finish the innings at the back end. He is very clear about his skills, he is well aware of his capabilities and what he needs to work on.”
Left-handed batsman Rinku Singh made it to the Indian team after a brilliant IPL 2023 and has scored 356 runs in 11 innings at an average of 89 and a strike rate of 176.23. During this period, he has played a very important role in the team’s victory in many matches.
While praising Rinku, Dravid further said :-
Dravid further praised Rinku Singh and said, “In the last few series, he has shown what wonders he can do with the bat. He is fearless, always keeps himself calm. He is very clear about his game plan and is aware of his abilities. We were looking for a player who could finish the game at the end and bat with a clear minder. Rinku has shown that by doing something like that. He is full of confidence. You yourself saw what kind of game he played in the IPL and he has been successful in continuing that game here as well.
