Former RCB captain Virat Kohli scored the 46th half-century of his IPL career against Lucknow Supergiants on Monday. Kohli touched the 50-run mark in 35 balls. This was Kohli’s second fifty in IPL 2023.

Simon Doull doing commentary for the official broadcaster of IPL said –

“Kohli started the innings like a train. He was playing fast and scoring runs at a good pace, he took 10 balls from 42 to 50 runs. He seemed worried about the record. I don’t think it has a place anywhere in the game. At this time, you should keep scoring runs continuously, especially when you have wickets left. You should keep scoring runs.”
