‘His wrist is strong and timing is great’, Brett Lee heaps praise on Gill

Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill has impressed with his performances in the ongoing IPL. Gill overturned Virat Kohli’s century by scoring a century against Royal Challengers Bangalore and gave Gujarat Titans a memorable victory.

Brett Lee said –

“Shubman Gill hit three sixes during his innings. I liked the way he played shots on the leg side. There was power in his shots. He was able to do this because he has strong wrists and played shots with great timing.”

Former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee was impressed by Shubman Gill’s innings. Brett Lee, who was part of the expert panel at Geo Cinema, was all praise for Gill.

Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill has so far scored 680 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2023, including two centuries and four half-centuries. Gill averaged 36.34 and had a strike rate of 131.43.
