IND vs WI 2nd T20: Indian Team will Go with the Intention of Winning The Series

IND vs WI 2nd T20: The Indian team will look to win the series, the second rivalry of the three T20 match series between India and West Indies will be played at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata on Friday, 18 February.

Rohit Eyes Second Competition:-

India leads 1-0 in the three-match series. In such a situation, the eyes of captain Rohit Sharma will be on winning the second competition and winning the series.

On the other hand, Windies captain Pollard would like to win this rivalry and level the series 1-1. In the second competition, the Indian team would not like to tamper with the winning combination.

IND vs WI 2nd T20: Talking about the performance of the Indian team in the first T20 rivalry, the performance of all the players except former captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rishabh Pant has been satisfactory.

Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, West Indies scored 157 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

India won the rivalry by 6 wickets with 7 balls to spare. Debutant Ravi Bishnoi has been adjudged the player of the match for his excellent bowling.

In the second competition, Virat Kohli would like to regain his form. He has so far scored 08, 18, 00, and 17 against West Indies, and the team will expect big innings from him.

Rohit is aware of the importance of aggressive batting in the Powerplays and played a 19-ball 40 in the first T20I, scoring 22 runs in Odeon Smith’s over. Opener Ishan Kishan was also seen fighting for runs in the first match.

Ishan will Improve The Game:-

India vs WI 2nd T20: For India, the injury of fast bowler Deepak Chahar will be a matter of concern. He suffered a right-hand injury while fielding due to which he could not fulfill his bowling quota. There is no update on his injury yet.

If he is out of the match then either Siraj, Avesh, or Shardul Thakur could get an opportunity in his place. Pant will also be eyeing a long inning in the second rivalry. He scored just 8 runs in the first match.
