Mumbai Indians successfully defended low scores in their previous two games. The defending champions now go up against last year’s finalists. Delhi Capitals, who come to Chennai on the backdrop of two impressive chases against Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. DC and MI are currently at the third and fourth spots respectively on the points table with equal wins, separated by the net run rate.
The finalists of the last year, both Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals face T20 match 13 at MA Chidambaram, Chennai on 20 April Tuesday. While DC is second, MI is third making Tuesday’s clash a very interesting one.
Both teams are full of power-packed players with great batting depth. They are also well-matched in their bowling attack, possessing world-class bowlers.

Hardik pandya has not been given the ball in MI’s first three games. He has also not been able to platform with the bat so far. Ahead of MI’s match against DC, MI coach Mahela Jayawardene explain for the same.
“We were looking forward to him bowling this season as he didn’t bowl in last year’s IPL after coming from an injury and he wasn’t ready. In his last ODI match against England. I believe Hardik picked up a niggle so we don’t want to risk an injury,” Jayawardene explained.

Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma has got starts and he would be keen to convert it into a big one and so would be Quinton de Kock.
The Mumbai bowlers, led by pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, have been splendid in the last two games. They successfully defended low scores of 150 and 152 respectively. Strike bowlers Bumrah (3 wickets) and New Zealander Trent Boult (6 wickets) have been exceptional at the death.
Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, whom bowling coach Shane Bond described as a “wicket-taking bowler”. He has grabbed seven wickets in the last two games.
While Delhi come into the match after beating Punjab Kings by six wickets at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai have recorded back-to-back victories by defending low totals in Chennai, something a formidable opponents like DC may not offer
