IPL 2023: Sourav Ganguly’s post on Surya’s innings went viral

Former BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday named Suryakumar Yadav as the best T20 player in the world after Mumbai’s match-winning innings against RCB.

Surya’s biggest IPL score –

Suryakumar had a slow start in IPL 2023 but has been a top performer in the last few matches. The 32-year-old has scored three fifties in the last five matches and in all these matches five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians have chased down big targets.

Suryakumar Yadav has scored 376 runs in 11 matches in the ongoing IPL at an average of 34.18 and an impressive strike-rate of 186.14.

Suryakumar once again showed his mettle against RCB on Tuesday. Surya came on the field after losing the wickets of both Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the same over. Suryakumar played a match-winning innings with Nehal Wadhera and hit 83 runs in just 35 balls. This was also the best score of Surya’s IPL career.
