This former cricketer is battling kidney disease for the last few years

The 51-year-old former cricketer, who played 4 ODIs for India. Has been battling kidney ailment for the last few years and underwent surgery on Wednesday. This has been informed by issuing a statement on behalf of HCA. David underwent kidney transplant surgery at Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills this month and is slowly improving, the statement said. On Monday, HCA President Azharuddin has met David.

It has also been said in the statement that due to health reasons. And advice issued by the doctor, this meeting could not take place earlier. During this, Azharuddin met Dr. Subramaniam and inquired about David’s health after the operation. During this, Azhar met Tejasvi Rao, COO of Apollo Hospitals and reiterated. That HCA will bear the cost of the operation and will also take care of David’s personal expenses.
