PAk vs SA, T20 WC: Pakistan’s team, playing in an important match against South Africa, scored 185 runs in 20 overs thanks to the half-centuries of Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan after a poor start.

After losing 4 wickets for 43 runs in the 7th over itself, Iftikhar and Nawaz took over the innings. However, when it seemed that both of them would take Pakistan out of pressure, only then in the 13th over Nawaz was dismissed in a very unlucky manner.

Mohammad Nawaz got out in a very unfortunate way like this :-

In Tabrez Shamsi’s over i.e. the last ball of the 13th over, Nawaz went to hit the sweep. But the ball took the edge of his bat and hit the pad. Meanwhile, the African team appealed for LBW and the umpire gave it out.

But in the meantime something else happened. Nawaz ran for a run after being hit on the pads, but Iftikhar, who was on non-strike, sent him back, meanwhile, fielder Lungi gave the ball to De Kock and got him run out.

Mohammad Nawaz felt he was run out :-

Here Pakistan batsman Nawaz thought that he was run out. But because the umpire had already given him out for LBW, he could not be run out. Because according to the rule, if the umpire had given him Once given out, whatever happens next will be considered dead.

It means that if Nawaz or Iftikhar had known this rule, then perhaps Nawaz would have avoided getting out with a review. But Iftikhar did not even know with the rule whether Nawaz was run out or lbw out.

There was a lot of debate about this out given by the umpire :-
