ICC Women’s T20 Ranking: Radha Yadav has an advantage in the women’s T20 ranking, Pooja and Renuka also made a big jump

India’s left-arm spinner Radha Yadav has made tremendous gains in the ICC Women’s T20 Rankings. The ICC released the rankings of women players on Tuesday (June 28). Radha has reached 13th place among bowlers. After the T20 series against Sri Lanka, many players including Radha have taken great leaps. Indian bowlers Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Thakur have also benefited.

Radha took four wickets in the series against Sri Lanka. They gained seven places. From 20 she went straight to number 13. Team India won this three-match series 2-1 against Sri Lanka. Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Thakur took two wickets each in the series. Pooja gained 30 places. She has now reached 32nd position. On the other hand, Renuka jumped 83 places. She is now included in the top-100. Renuka came at number 97 in the ranking.

Attapattu scored an unbeaten 80 in the last T20 match at Dambulla

Talking about the ranking of batsmen, India’s Smriti Mandhana is fourth, Jemima Rodrigues 14th and captain Harmanpreet Kaur 18th. Sri Lanka’s captain Chamari Atapattu scored 139 runs in three matches of the series. He achieved a career-best seventh ranking. Attapattu scored an unbeaten 80 in the last T20 match at Dambulla. She moved up two places to number seven in the all-rounder’s list.

Sri Lanka’s Anoushka Sanjeevani has moved up four places to 60th position among batsmen. Team spinners Oshadi Ranasinghe (up 11 places to 26th), Sugandha Kumari (up nine places to 40th) and Inoka Ranvira (up 16 places to 47th) have also improved their rankings.
