Former cricketer Robin Uthappa has claimed that Shubman Gill has the potential to become a player as big as Virat Kohli or Sachin Tendulkar. The last year has been great for Gill in international cricket. Gill has scored centuries in all three formats of the game.

The former KKR batsman said that he definitely sees the potential in Gill to become as big a player as Virat Kohli or Sachin Tendulkar. Uthappa feels that the GT star has the talent to do so. The 23-year-old batsman is in excellent form and is playing different cricket at the moment.
Apart from this, during Uthappa Gill’s conversation, RR batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was also mentioned. Yashasvi has scored 575 runs in the season so far at an average of 47.92 and recently also scored the fastest half-century against KKR in IPL history. He said that the young players are going to be the next two big names in Indian cricket.
