In reply, Delhi openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan batted up the storm. Prithvi Shaw made history in the first over. He hit 6 consecutive fours off 6 balls and created history.

With this, Prithvi also scored the fastest half-century in the 14th season of IPL. He is second in joint form with Rishabh Pant in terms of scoring the fastest half-century for Delhi in the history of the tournament by scoring 50 off 18 balls.
