T20 World Cup 2021: Pakistan Squad, Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. The marquee tournament is scheduled to start from October 17. And the summit clash will take place on November 14. Team Pakistan will have their eyes on him in the marquee event.

Afghanistan and India Placed in Group B of T20 World Cup 2021 Along With :

The Pakistan national cricket team has been placed in Group B of the T20 World Cup 2021 along with New Zealand, Afghanistan and India. Notably, they will begin their campaign on 24 October 2021, facing the arch-rivals India national cricket team.

Babar Azam Has Been Ranked No. 2 in the ICC T20I Batsmen Rankings :

The two biggest positives for Pakistan is the red hot form of wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam. Notably, Babar Azam is rank No. 2 in the ICC T20I Batsman Rankings, along with Mohammad Rizwan at the 7th spot. Rizwan is in the form of his life in the T20I format, scoring runs at an average of 94.00 in the 17 matches he has played in 2021 and has already amassed a total of 752 runs.

On the bowling side of things, youngster Shaheen Afridi will be the biggest factor. Notably, Pakistan have won 4 out of the last 5 T20I series they have played.

So far Pakistan has won a T20 World Cup trophy in 2009 by defeating Sri Lanka by 8 wickets at the Home of Cricket Lord’s Cricket Ground, London. His eyes will be on winning the upcoming World Cup 2021 held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
