Former Indian Cricket Team fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad along with many Veteran Cricketers has criticized the Asian Cricket Council’s decision to give a reserve day to the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK). The grand match between the two teams will be played on 10 September. If the match is stopped due to rain on this day, it will be started from there the next day.

Venkatesh Prasad criticizes ACC for keeping reserve day for the India vs Pakistan Super 4 match

Prasad has termed the reserve day for the India vs Pakistan match as wrong. And said that it would be unethical if the rules were different only for two teams.

Silverwood and Hathurasingha are not happy with ACC’s unilateral decision to reserve a day for the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan

Apart from Venkatesh Prasad, other cricket boards are also unhappy with this decision. Other Super Four matches have not given the same privilege. Sri Lanka coach Chris Silverwood and Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurasingha are not happy with the ACC’s unilateral decision to have a reserve day for the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan.
