Former explosive opener of the Indian team Virender Sehwag said that Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma is currently struggling with a ‘mental block’ and not a technical glitch. Rohit Sharma is yearning to score runs in the current IPL season.

While talking on Star Sports, Sehwag said –

“Rohit Sharma is fighting with himself, not the bowlers at the moment. There is a mental block. There is no flaw in his batting technique. There is some confusion going on in his mind. But the day his bat will be used, then the old matches will be completed.”

Rohit Sharma has so far scored 184 runs in 10 matches at an average of 18.39 and a strike rate of 126.89. He could not even open an account in the last two matches.
