Highest run chase made by any team in Wankhede Stadium:-

In this innings, Glenn Maxwell hit a total of 31 boundaries which included 10 sixes and 21 fours. After this spectacular victory, Australia has also confirmed its place in the semi-finals. Also, this is the highest run chase done by any team at Wankhede Stadium. Before this no team had been able to successfully chase a target of more than 280.

Sachin Tendulkar also praised Afghanistan’s 21-year-old batsman Ibrahim Zadran a lot. Zadran, who made his ODI debut almost four years ago, played a key role in Afghanistan reaching a respectable score by scoring an unbeaten 129 runs off 143 balls against Australia.
