Bangladeshi Captain Shakib Al Hasan Embroiled in Controversies:-

The team’s fast bowling coach Alan Donald did not even support Shakib on this issue. Now amidst all these things, he has also decided to leave the team. He will resign from his post after the World Cup.
Bangladesh Cricket Board Will Make A Decision:-
According to the latest reports, The Bangladesh Cricket Board has now started looking for his replacement. Also, after the World Cup, a decision will be taken on the new Test captain and the future of Shabik Al Hasan.
Giving this information, an official of Bangladesh Cricket Board, on condition of anonymity, said, ‘He (Allan Donald) told during the team meeting that he will not be associated with us after the World Cup.’
Donald was added to the team in view of the T20 World Cup in March 2022. Due to the improvement in the pace attack of the Bangladesh cricket team under his leadership, his contract was extended till the World Cup 2023. But now he himself has decided not to pursue it further.
Bangladesh’s Performance in World Cup 2023:-
The performance of the Bangladesh team in the ODI World Cup 2023 was very disappointing. After defeating Afghanistan in the first match, the team lost six consecutive matches.
Then after that, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka in the eighth match. Now he will face Australia in the last match.
