Rachin Ravindra equals Sachin Tendulkar’s big record: New Zealand’s rising batsman Rachin Ravindra has delivered another explosive innings in the ICC World Cup 2023. In the match being played against Australia in Dharamshala, Rachin batted in a stormy style and scored a century in just 77 balls. With this century, Rachin has also equaled the special record of Sachin Tendulkar.

Rachin Ravindra’s brilliant century :-

Rachin Ravindra, who came on the field after Devon Conway returned to the pavilion, appeared in excellent form from the beginning. The Kiwi batsman hit his shots openly and thrashed the Kangaroo bowlers. Rachin along with Darryl Mitchell made a strong partnership of 96 runs for the third wicket.

Rachin hit a six and completed his second century in the World Cup 2023 in 77 balls. Rachin played another memorable inning of 116 runs facing 89 balls. Playing at a strike rate of 130, Rachin hit 9 fours and five sixes.

Rachin equaled Sachin’s record:-

Rachin Ravindra has become only the second batsman to score two centuries at the age of 23 or younger in the 50-over World Cup. Before Rachin, only Sachin Tendulkar could do this feat. With this, at the age of 23, Rachin has become only the second batsman after Sachin to score 400 plus runs in a World Cup season. Rachin had scored a century against England in the very first match of the tournament.
