Meanwhile, opening batsman Mitchell Marsh scored a half-century of 52 runs in 51 balls with the help of 9 fours. Whereas, the second opener David Warner was out on 11 runs only. Middle-order batsman Josh Inglis scored 58 runs in 59 balls by hitting 5 fours and 1 six.

Whereas, the batsman who came before him, Marnus Labuschagne, played an economical inning of 40 runs by hitting 2 fours in 60 balls. Apart from this, Maxwell scored 31 runs in 21 balls and Marcus Stoinis scored 20 runs in 10 balls.

Dilsan Madhushanka took a maximum of 3 wickets for Sri Lanka. In this match, he dismissed David Warner and Steve Smith LBW in one over. Apart from this, only Dimuth Velalage could take 1 wicket. He also gave away a maximum of 53 runs.
