Australia’s Most Destructive Batsman Will Not Play in The T20 Series Against India

IND vs AUS T20 Series 2023: Australia’s most destructive batsman will not play in the T20 series against India. Leaving behind the disappointment in the World Cup 2023, the Indian team is now ready for its next match. The Blue team has to play a five-match T20 series against Australia from coming Thursday.

Before the start of the series, big news is coming out. Experienced Australian opener David Warner will not participate in the T20 series against India. Due to his constantly busy schedule, he has decided to return home.

Cricket Australia said in a statement on Tuesday, ‘The selectors have decided that Warner will return home after the challenging campaign of the World Cup.’

Warner had been playing cricket continuously for the last few months while watching the World Cup tournament. This is why the management has decided to give him rest before some major tournaments.

Australia’s Kane Richardson Also Returned:–

The board has included Aaron Hardy in the team as a replacement for Warner for the T20 series against India. Hardy started his T20 International cricket career earlier this year. The young player played his debut T20 match against South Africa.

All-rounder Kane Richardson has also returned to the team for the T20 series against India. 32-year-old Richardson has been included in the team in place of injured Spencer Johnson. It is being told that Johnson is suffering from hamstring.

The Player is Also Not Part Of The T20 Series:–

Key players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh, and Josh Hazlewood have also been rested for the T20 against India. In the absence of Cummins, the team will be led by wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade.

Andre Borovkan will play the role of head coach during the T20 series against India. The team’s regular head coach Andrew McDonald has been rested. He is leaving for home.
