The final match of the World Cup between India and Australia was played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium on 19 November. India reached the finals by winning all the matches in the league stage, while Australia started the tournament with 2 consecutive defeats.
In this one match, India defeated Australia. Well, in the final they looked like a completely different Australia, they first bowled out India for 240 runs and then achieved the target with 42 balls to spare and registered victory.
Travis Head scored 137 runs while chasing the target and made the match one-sided, with Australia achieving the target in 43 overs. India missed a good opportunity and once again disappointed the fans in an ICC tournament.

According to the news published in Dainik Jagran, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, Vice President Rajeev Shukla, and Treasurer Ashish Shailer tried to know the reasons for the defeat of Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma.
Rahul Dravid attributed the defeat to not getting a turn on the pitch. Dravid said, “In the final, we did not get the amount of turn we expected from the pitch. If we had got the right turn, our spinners would have won the match.”
When asked about this strategy, Dravid said in the meeting that we had won the last 10 matches with this strategy but things did not go well in the final.

Usually, a new pitch is prepared for the final match but this time the final was played on the used pitch, which was done on the advice of the curator.
