Gambhir’s statement today is also similar, in which he raised questions on the selectors of that time for choosing the 2019 Cricket World Cup team and tagged that committee as the worst panel in history.

Gambhir raised these questions in the commentary during the India vs New Zealand match. Gambhir also told his colleagues sitting in the commentary panel that such difficult questions are asked only to me.

This is The Worst Selection Committee in Indian History:-

Then he said that according to him the selection panel which chose the team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup is the worst selection committee in Indian history. He said, “Why did you drop a player who had played cricket the whole year before the World Cup?”

Gambhir said, “According to me, the 2019 Cricket World Cup Selection Committee is the worst selection committee in the history of India.

You played Ambati Rayudu throughout the year but dropped him before the World Cup. There was no reason to exclude Rayudu.”

There Was No Reason To Exclude Rayudu:-

Gambhir held the selector responsible for this. He said, “The Selection Committee is responsible for this, there was no reason to exclude Rayudu and the selector is responsible for this.

To be honest, I don’t even remember who was the Chief Selector at that time, but it was the worst committee in history.”

Let us tell you that there was a Selection Committee under the Chairmanship of MSK Prasad to choose the 2019 Cricket World Cup team.
