However, bucking the trend this year, it looks like Pepsi has roped in Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Afridi as the brand ambassador for its World Cup 2023 campaign.
Shaheen Was Seen Practicing Some Lines For The Shoot:-
The Pakistan fast bowler was seen practicing some lines for an ad shoot and fans are speculating that it is for the new Pepsi ad.
For the shoot, Shaheen wore the jersey of the Pakistani team and was posing. Seeing the viral video, a user commented, ‘Swag on the field, swag outside the field.
Another user commented, “The face of Pakistani cricket.” While another commented, “Hero.”
Shaheen Has Worked on Many Advertisements:-
It is worth noting that Afridi has worked in many advertisements, but this will be the first time that he will work for Pepsi.
There is no official information yet on whether the left-arm bowler’s photoshoot was for a Pepsi advertisement or not.

Talking about the Pakistan team, they played their first practice match against New Zealand and lost by five wickets. Pakistan will play another practice match against Australia on October 3.
