ICC ODI World Cup 2023: I will not play the next World Cup, Mitchell Starc expresses pain. The second semi-final match of the World Cup 2023 will be played on 16 November between South Africa and Australia in Kolkata.

He Will Not Be Able To Participate For Australia in The World Cup:-

Before the important match, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has given a big statement. He says that he will not be able to participate for Australia in the next World Cup.

Starc is currently 33 years old. He will be 37 years old by the next World Cup (World Cup 2027). It is almost impossible to participate as a fast bowler at the age of 37.

I Won’t Be Able To Play in The Next World Cup:-

The Australian fast bowler is ready for the semi-final match against South Africa. Before the match, he said, ‘I will continue playing after this, but I have no doubt that I will not be able to play the next World Cup. I don’t have any approach for the upcoming tournament. Four years is a long time.

Not only this, he has given priority to Test cricket. He has said that before leaving red-ball cricket, he would like to leave the other two formats. He said, ‘I have always said that Test cricket is supreme for me and I will leave everything else before leaving Test cricket.’

Starc Has Not Proved Anything Special in The World Cup:–

World Cup 2023 is not proving to be anything special for Mitchell Starc. The left-arm fast bowler has played a total of eight matches for his team so far in the tournament.

Meanwhile, he has got 10 successes at an average of 43.90, which cannot be said to be anything special according to his image.
