Amidst the excitement of fans regarding the World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has presented a golden ticket to veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.
BCCI tweeted the photo of Big B with Secretary Jay Shah and said – Golden ticket for our golden symbols! Shah had the privilege of presenting his golden ticket to millennium superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
A great actor and a devoted cricket lover, Amitabh Bachchan’s unwavering support towards Team India continues to inspire us all. Jai Shah has expressed happiness by presenting this ticket. He tweeted and wrote – This is a golden moment.
According to reports, the Golden Ticket is a special guest pass giving to some special personalities. Through this they will get VIP entry in the World Cup matches.
Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is the only person to get the golden ticket. Possibly the BCCI may give similar passes to various icons from other fields as well.
With this golden ticket, Big B will get to watch all the matches from VIP boxes in each stadium along with other facilities.
