IND vs NED ODI World Cup 2023: India created history for the first time in the World Cup with 9 consecutive wins. The Indian team finished the league stage of the World Cup 2023 unbeaten. In the last match, Team India won by defeating Netherlands by 160 runs. Meanwhile, two Indian batsmen played century innings.

KL Rahul And Shreyas Had Completely Got Rid Of The Sixes Of The Dutch Bowlers:-

After winning the toss, captain Rohit Sharma had decided to bat first. Right from the beginning, the captain along with Shubman Gill started hitting big shots. Rohit played an inning of 61 runs in 54 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Whereas, Gill scored 51 runs in 32 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes.

Shreyas Iyer scored his first world century and scored 128 runs in 94 balls, in which he hit 10 fours and 5 sixes. At the same time, KL Rahul became the fastest Indian to score a World Cup century by completing his century in 62 balls. Rahul played an innings of 102 runs in 64 balls with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes.

India gave the Netherlands a huge target of 410 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs. Bas de Leede took a maximum of 2 wickets for the Netherlands. While Van Meekeren der Merwe took 1-1 wicket.

Captain Rohit Launched A Bowling Attack Of 9 Bowlers:-

When the Netherlands came to chase the target of 411 runs, Indian captain Rohit Sharma deployed almost all the players to bowl. In this match, India made a new experiment by making the batsmen bowl also. For the Netherlands, Teja Nidamanuru played the highest half-century innings of 54 runs. In this inning of 39 balls, he hit 1 four and 6 sixes.

Apart from this, Max O’Dowd, Ackerman, and Seabrand played innings of 30, 35, and 45 runs respectively. A total of 9 bowlers were involved in the Indian bowling attack. Main fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah along with Mohammad Siraj, spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each.

Apart from this, the remaining two wickets were taken by Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Virat was made to bowl a full 3 overs in this match. Kohli gave only 13 runs in his spell and got Netherlands captain Scott Edward caught by the keeper.

After this, the captain himself came to bowl the 48th over of the innings. Nidamanuru hit a six on the fourth ball of Rohit’s over. After this, he tried to hit a shot on the very next ball but was caught. The Dutch team collapsed on the score of 250 runs in 47.5 overs.
