‘Inzamam-ul-Haq’ made a sensational revelation on resigning from the post of chief selector of Pakistan

Amidst the disappointing performance of the Pakistan team in the World Cup 2023, on October 30, their chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced his resignation in the middle of the tournament. This comes just days after the Pakistan Cricket Board issued a statement in support of captain Babar Azam against the “media investigation” which also included Inzamam by name.

Inzamam-ul-Haq said on leaving his post:-

Inzamam-ul-Haq said on his resignation, “I am stepping down to give the PCB the opportunity to conduct a transparent investigation. If the committee does not find me guilty, I will resume my role as chief selector.” I will start.”

You should also know that according to reports, the former Pakistan captain has been accused of being a shareholder in Talha Rahmani’s company “Yazo International Limited”. The company is the agent for top players like Babar, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi.

Inzamam-ul-Haq further said:-

While confirming his resignation to Pakistan Cricket, Inzamam also claimed that he has no connection with companies like “Yazo International Limited”.

He said, “People speak without research. If you are pointing fingers at me, raising questions on me, then it would be better if I resign. If the PCB wants to investigate me, I am available. People They’re talking about me without actually saying anything.” Bring evidence, if any. I have asked the PCB to do the same. I have no connection with the players’ agent company, such allegations hurt me,” he told SAMAA TV.

PCB formed a five-member committee :-

Minutes after Inzamam resigned from his post, the PCB announced on social media on October 30 evening that they had formed a five-member committee to investigate media allegations regarding conflict of interest. The committee will submit its report and any recommendations to the PCB.
