NED vs AFG, Rahmat Shah: Afghanistan’s good performance continues in the ICC World Cup 2023. In the match played in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow, the players of Afghanistan created a ruckus and defeated the Netherlands in a one-sided manner by 7 wickets.

Rahmat Shah, who came to the crease after Gurbaz returned to the pavilion early, once again took charge of Afghanistan’s faltering innings. Afghanistan lost the wicket of Ibrahim Zadran on the score of 55, but after this Rahmat along with captain Hashmatullah Shahidi added 74 runs for the third wicket.

Rahmat appeared in excellent form and scored his third consecutive half-century in the World Cup 2023. Rahmat was out after playing a brilliant inning of 52 runs in 54 balls, but by then Afghanistan was very close to victory.
Big achievement in the name of Rahmat :-
Rahmat Shah has also completed his 500 runs in the ODI World Cup during this innings. Rahmat has become the first batsman from Afghanistan to achieve this feat. Rahmat has looked in excellent form in the tournament so far. Even against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan’s experienced batsman batted brilliantly and played a strong inning of 62 runs.
