NZ vs PAK: New Zealand vs Pakistan in the league stage of World Cup 2023 is one of those matches in which a lot is at stake. While Pakistan has ended its consecutive losing streak and registered a spectacular win against Bangladesh in the last match, New Zealand has lost all its last three matches after a great start in this World Cup.

Talking about New Zealand, many of their players have been injured in the recent past. This includes captain Kane Williamson thumb injury, Mark Chapman calf injury, Lockie Ferguson Achilles injury and Jimmy Neesham wrist injury. All these injured players took training in Bengaluru on 3 November.

Apart from this, after the exit of Matt Henry, one of New Zealand’s leading bowlers from the World Cup, Kyle Jamieson has been included in his place as replacement team.

Talking about the injured players, New Zealand Cricket said, “A decision on their availability will be left for the day of the game. This will be confirmed at the time of the toss.”

Apart from this, if we talk about Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi is now the joint second highest wicket taker in the tournament. Making a great comeback in the team, Fakhar Zaman looked in his old style against Bangladesh. He played a brilliant inning of 81 runs with seven sixes in the match. Apart from this, their spin attack is a big problem for Pakistan, also the poor form of Babar Azam is no less than a nightmare for the Pakistan team.
