PAK vs BAN: Shaheen Afridi achieved a big feat by leaving Mitchell Starc behind

Shaheen Shah Afridi big achievement: In World Cup 2022, Pakistan performed brilliantly in the seventh match of its league stage and defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in Kolkata. With this victory, Pakistan is still in the race for the semi-finals.

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr. took three wickets each, while Haris Rauf took two wickets. Spinners Iftikhar Ahmed and Usama Mir took one wicket each.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, who came to bowl the first over in this match, gave out Bangladeshi opener Tanjeed Hasan lbw on zero on the fifth ball of the over. In this match, Afridi has made a special achievement in his name by taking his first wicket.

Actually, Afridi has joined the elite club of bowlers who have taken 100 wickets in ODI cricket. He has become the fastest bowler to take 100 wickets in ODI. Afridi has left behind experienced Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. Earlier, Starc was at number one in this matter by taking 100 wickets in 52 ODI matches.

If we talk overall, Afridi has become the third fastest bowler in the history of ODI cricket to take 100 wickets. Afghanistan’s star Rashid Khan is second in the list with 100 wickets in 44 matches, while Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane is on top with 100 wickets in 42 matches.
