A fan has filed an FIR against BCCI, BookMyShow, and Cricket Association of Bengal for promoting black marketing in cricket before India vs South Africa (IND vs SA) match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday, November 05.

Fans have alleged that huge quantities of tickets BY BCCI, CAB, and BookMyShow

In the complaint, fans have alleged that huge quantities of tickets. These were initially meant for public release, have been collected by BCCI, CAB, and BookMyShow, and sold to black market operators for personal profits.

FIR registered against BCCI, Bookmyshow and CAB

Kolkata Police has now issued notices to the Association of Bengal and BookMyShow, asking the officers to appear on Thursday, November 2, to cooperate in the ongoing investigation. However, BCCI and BookMyShow have yet to issue any statement on the alleged complaint. Since the start of the World Cup, there have been several cases of tickets being sold on the black market. Earlier, Kolkata Police had arrested a man for selling an India vs South Africa match ticket worth Rs 2500 for Rs 11,000.

There has been silence from the accused parties

As the controversy continues to rage. There has been silence from the accused parties, namely the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Cricket Association of Bengal, and Book My Show. Now it remains to be seen what reaction comes from BCCI, Book My Show, and CAB on this.
