An X-ray after the game confirmed the fracture. Which has ruled him out of the BAN vs AUS match in Pune on 11 November. National team physio Bayjedul Islam Khan gave more details about the injury.
“Shakib suffered a cut on his left finger at the start of his innings. But he continued to bat with supportive tape and painkillers,” he said.

“He underwent an emergency X-ray in Delhi after the game which confirmed a fracture of the left PIP joint. Recovery is expected to take three to four weeks. He will leave for Bangladesh today to begin his rehabilitation.”
