Meanwhile, the statement of Mathews’ brother has also come to light. He says that if Shakib comes on a Sri Lanka tour, he will not be welcomed. Not only this, they say that we will rain stones on them.

Hassan Will No Longer Be Welcome in Sri Lanka:-

The 36-year-old Sri Lankan all-rounder’s brother said, ‘Shakib Al Hasan will no longer be welcomed in Sri Lanka. If he comes here to participate in any international cricket match or Lanka Premier League, stones will be thrown at him.

The 38th match of the World Cup 2023 was played on November 6 between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh cricket team at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

In this match, Shakib had appealed for time, after which Mathews was declared time-out for the first time in international cricket.

After the dismissal of Samarawickrama against Bangladesh, Mathews came out to bat. He had barely taken his stance on the field when his eyes fell on his helmet. Here his helmet strap was broken. After which he demanded another helmet from the dressing room.
