Sourav Ganguly: ‘Rohit Sharma did not want to become captain’

Ganguly recently said that “Rohit did not want captaincy because he was under pressure to play in all formats. This also came up at one stage. I told him you have to say yes or I will announce your name. I’m glad he took it (captaincy). Now he is leading from the front and you can see the results.”
