ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Virat Kohli came out in his luxury car after the victory over Sri Lanka. The Indian cricket team has secured a place in the semi-finals of the World Cup by defeating Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 302 runs. Batting first, Team India scored 357 runs.

Virat Kohli (88 runs) and Shubman Gill (92 runs) together made a partnership of 189 runs for the second wicket, which helped the team score a big score.

Iyer played an important inning of 82 runs, after which the Indian fast bowlers did their magic and the entire Sri Lankan team got bundled out for 55 runs. Mohammed Shami, who took 5 wickets, was chosen as the player of the match.

He scored 85 runs against Australia, 95 runs against New Zealand, and 88 runs against Sri Lanka. He came very close to scoring a century thrice in the World Cup 2023. But could not convert all three innings into centuries.

The next match of the Indian cricket team is with South Africa on 5 November. Which will be played at the Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata.
