Shami Took 14 Wickets in Just Three Matches:-

After Hardik Pandya’s injury, Mohammed Shami got a place in the playing eleven and in just three matches, Shami took 14 wickets in his name.

Shami has taken 5-5 wickets twice in the tournament. Today the Indian team is facing South Africa at the Eden Gardens ground. Before the match, Mohammed Shami’s coach Shrivats Goswami said that former legendary Pakistani player Wasim Akram had taught Shami a lot.

Speaking with Indian Express, coach Goswami said, “Wasim Akram has worked a lot with him. The condition of his wrist was very good but Wasim Bhai did more work on his wrist.

He was not getting much playing time for KKR, but he was always around Wasim. It was Wasim Akram who made him the bowler he is and of course, he has worked hard.”

It is Difficult For Virat To Understand Shami’s Bowling:-

He further said, “Virat explained to me why it is so difficult to face Shami. Shami makes subtle changes with his fingers.

Jasprit Bumrah is easy to read but Shami is not so much. When Shami bowls, you don’t know which ball is coming in and which one is going out.”
