The Pakistani team is struggling with health problems in the World Cup and some of their players are suffering from fever. It is believed that top fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is also among the affected players.

A spokesperson of the Pakistan team said this :-

According to a statement from the Pakistan team management, it has been said that “Some players suffering from fever are now on the road to recovery, while others are still recovering.

A spokesperson of the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team said, “In the last few days, some players have developed fever and most of them have completely recovered. The players who are in the recovery stage are in the team’s medical department.” Are under the monitoring of the panel.”

World Cup 2023: Names of sick players were not disclosed :-

Let us also tell you that the names of the sick players have not been disclosed but it is understood that the players who are unwell include Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abdullah Shafiq, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Aga, Mohammad Haris and Zaman Khan.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that it has filed a complaint with the ICC against BCCI and the Ahmedabad crowd for inappropriate behavior on its players.

In the PCB’s statement regarding the incident, this was said :-

“The Pakistan Cricket Board has lodged a further formal protest with the ICC over the delay in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistan fans for the ongoing World Cup 2023,” the PCB statement said. It further said, “The PCB has also filed a complaint regarding inappropriate conduct of the Pakistani team during the India vs Pakistan match on 14 October 2023.”

There has been no immediate response from ICC in response to this.

The Pakistani team, which won 2 out of 3 matches in the league stage of the World Cup 2023, will next face Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.
