Former India captain Virat Kohli became the fastest Indian cricketer to complete 11,000 ODI runs. He became the third and first Indian cricketer to achieve this unique feat.
The record for scoring the most runs while playing at number three is in the name of former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, he had scored 12662 runs in 330 innings. Virat Kohli has scored 11,000 runs while playing his 215th inning.
KL Rahul also missed his century but after the team fell by three wickets for two runs, he gave India dominance by making a partnership of 165 runs for the fourth wicket with Kohli (85 runs in 116 balls). The Indian team achieved the target of 200 runs for victory by losing four wickets with 52 balls remaining.
