Let us tell you that earlier this Under-19 World Cup tournament was to be held in Sri Lanka, but ICC has decided to change its venue. This has dealt another blow to Sri Lanka.
Under-19 World Cup Host Team Suffers Another Setback:-
Recently ICC suspended the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, and after this the host team of the Under-19 World Cup has suffered another blow. ICC has decided to change the venue.
ICC has changed the venue of next year’s Cricket World Cup to South Africa. Earlier this World Cup was going to be held in Sri Lanka, but now the World Cup is going to be held in South Africa.
Taken in View Of Administrative Uncertainty in Sri Lanka Cricket:-
Let us tell you that apart from the Under-19 T20 Cricket World Cup, there will also be an Under-19 ODI World Cup next year. The ICC Cricket Board has taken the decision to change the venue in view of the administrative uncertainty in Sri Lankan cricket.
The ICC has upheld the recent decision to suspend the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, but the Sri Lankan Under-19 team will be allowed to participate in the competition.
The Under-19 World Cup is scheduled to be held between January 14 and February 15, for which the venue has been changed. This is bad news for Sri Lanka.

If this tournament had been held in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan players would have got the benefit of playing on their own pitch, but the change in venue has dealt them a big blow.
