The 34-year-old batsman has scored three unbeaten half-centuries in the World Cup. All of whom are standing in the direction of the winning team.

Kohli said on the RCB podcast

“The only person who really reached out to me. And that is MS Dhoni. For me, it is such a blessing to know that I can have such a strong bond and connection with someone who is so senior to me. It’s very much like a friendship based on mutual respect, and that’s one of those things. Which he has mentioned in the same message which has reached me”.
