T20 World Cup: India-Pakistan Match Ticket Costs Rs 16 Lakh! Is This Cricket? The T20 World Cup is almost here and cricket fans are pumped! India kicks off their campaign against Ireland on June 5th, but the real showstopper is coming up on June 9th – India vs Pakistan!
But hold on, there’s a catch (a very expensive one). Tickets for this epic clash have reached a crazy price – ₹16.60 lakhs for a seat in the Diamond Club section!
This left former IPL chairman Lalit Modi fuming. He blasted the ICC on social media, saying, “This ain’t cricket! Hosting the World Cup in the US should be about growing the sport, not making a quick buck.”

There’s no doubt, that India vs Pakistan is HUGE. Millions want to witness this match. But these super high prices make it impossible for most fans to even dream about attending.
There have been whispers of tickets being sold on the black market for even more than the official price. The ICC, however, hasn’t commented on these allegations.
