But his passion for cricket did not diminish. He started playing cricket in America and surprised everyone with his talent. In 2018, he was included in the USA cricket team and gradually he became an important player of the team.

In 2021, Monank Patel was made the captain of the USA cricket team. This time he is leading his team in the T20 World Cup.
At the very beginning of the tournament, he showed his brilliant performance. Even though he scored less runs in the first match, he played an important role in the team’s victory by scoring 50 runs in 38 balls against Pakistan.
Monank is not only a great batsman but also an agile wicketkeeper.
