India Will Make It To The Semi-Finals By Defeating Sri Lanka

The eyes of every fan were fixed on the match between India and Sri Lanka (IND vs SL Knock Out Match). The question in everyone’s mind was whether India would defeat Sri Lanka and make it to the semi-finals or whether Sri Lanka would write a new story.

India scored 90 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in 10 overs. Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir made a partnership of 30 runs for the first wicket. There was a partnership of 66 runs between Gambhir and Raina for the second wicket.

Both scored 11 runs in the 17th over and also scored 11 runs in the 18th over. In the 19th over, Kapugedera made the victory easier by hitting two consecutive sixes on Vinay Kumar.

On the first ball of the 20th over, Angelo Mathews knocked India out of the race for the semi-finals by hitting a six on the very first ball of Nehra.

Angelo Mathews was out on the fifth ball. Sri Lanka needed three runs off the last ball and Kapugedera ended the match by hitting a brilliant six over the cover boundary.
