The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York will host eight matches of the T20 World Cup. For the past six months, drop-in pitches have been meticulously prepared in Florida for this grand event. The stadium has a seating capacity of 34,000, almost equal to Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium.

All eight matches to be played at this stadium will be played on drop-in pitches. Four pitches are being laid at the Nassau Stadium, while six more will be installed nearby for practice sessions.
Drop-in pitches are those that are constructed away from the ground or venue. Later, these pitches are transported to the stadium using cranes or trucks and laid down.
