He was dropped after the first test to play in the Ranji final.

What Will Happen to Bumrah?

Jasprit Bumrah has been away from professional cricket for a long time due to injury. He last played in an international match on 25 September against Australia. He was dropped from Team India after that T20 match. Bumrah also had to stay away from the T20 World Cup. He was selected for the series against Sri Lanka, but was ruled out due to not being fully recovered. If Bumrah’s return does not happen for the Test series, then he can be selected in the ODI team.
